On this page I have chosen a different painting each month to highlight. I will provide a more detailed description of the picture than in the original webpage it was on. What is the picture about, what methods did I use to make it etc? There may also be brand new works too - never seen before on the website. I will try (harder!) to regularly update this page (and photo of the month, print of the month, and drawing of the week). Please remember "painting of the month" is only a name, and therefore may not be rigourously maintained and kept up-to-date! |

Green Red Diptych is another diptych, but this time it is a painting(s) in a geometric mesh like, circuit board abstract style that had Inca and mayan style influences it seems. It is a quite a big piece 122 x 61 cms / 48" x 39" and was painted during those first crazy years at Carpenter's Road studio., which I shared with Neil Paterson and Tim Higgins. Such good times! 09/11/10 painting of the month has a new painting called "Green Red Diptych". Finally after a long reign, "azimuth" has been dethroned by a new painting, also a diptych, funnily enough. 10/10/10 painting of the month will be coming soon as an updated feature. Now that the website is up-and-running again I can concentrate on keep this page updated. Some paintings will be availabe for sale, and limit edition prints will also be available of Painting of the month. |

Painting of the "month" list is the page which shows all the previous "paintings of the month" together. To see the present "painting of the month", click here. To view "print of the month", "photo of the month" and "drawing of the week", please click the link.
As you can see by the regularity that this page is updated "painting of the month" is more like "painting of the year"! I hope to be more regular in the future!! I've never been any good at sticking to a schedule. |
